A design that behaves less like a print and more like a carved reliquary panel. Everything is gold on black, and the black is doing most of the work.

Design Story

The composition is built as a vertical altar. At the top, arched lettering reads Pokemon with the smaller line Gotta Catch 'Em All beneath it, setting the tone before any figure appears. The eye then drops to the true anchor: a faceted red and clear sphere framed by laurel and a crown, the brightest point in the entire field. Below it, a small golden figure with open-mouthed delight sits centre stage, flanked by winged and shelled companions in quiet relief rather than mid-action. A row of coloured gem badges acts as a horizontal pause, and a plaque closes the sequence with Journey, Battles, Friendship, Forever. Dark ground holds the ornament together and keeps the density from becoming noise.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, this vertical hierarchy is ideal: crown and lettering read at the top of the silhouette, the jewelled sphere lands at natural eye height, and the plaque grounds the base. The wraparound ornament continues around the form, so the piece keeps its presence from any angle, with the handle side left as breathing space.
