Design Story

The focal panel is unmistakable: a jewelled script P haloed in rays and stars, flanked by crossed bats and scrolling filigree. Below it, a relief-style Philadelphia skyline anchors a Liberty Bell, with a small plaque reading PHILADELPHIA EST. 1883. Lower still, the Phillies script sits over the words FIGHTIN' PHILS, BASEBALL, BROTHERHOOD, NO LIMITS, closing on a stitched baseball framed by feathered scrollwork. The banded top reads PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES. Tonal contrast does the heavy lifting here: warm metallic linework against saturated crimson, cool blue used sparingly so the crest keeps the eye.

Use & Experience

The composition is tuned to a tumbler's vertical proportion. Emblem high, cityscape mid, wordmark low, so the hierarchy reads from any viewing angle as the piece turns. The handle carries its own narrow column of type, extending the wraparound story rather than interrupting it, while banded borders at lid and base frame the whole silhouette.
