Design Story

The composition reads top to bottom like an engraved medallion. A curved banner carries NEW YORK METS across the upper collar, then the interlocking NY monogram anchors the centre, set against a stylised skyline framed by a baseball-seam arch. Below it, CITI FIELD labels a scrolling stadium facade, crossed bats and a ball bridge the midsection, and a lower shield reads METS, QUEENS NEW YORK BASEBALL, EST. 1962. Faceted accents and scrollwork fill the margins, so there is almost no idle negative space — yet the hierarchy stays clear because the monogram holds the brightest contrast and everything else recedes into deep navy.
