Design Story

A translucent stag stands at the centre of the composition, antlers branching upward into a field of deep midnight blue and scattered stars. The figure is calm, weight settled, head turned slightly outward rather than forward — presence without confrontation. Around it, an ornate gilded framework of vines, arches and moonstone-like cabochons builds a vertical cathedral structure, with a pale moon set at the crown and a compass rose anchoring the base. Two typographic elements carry the meaning: a ribbon reading EXPECTO PATRONUM, and beneath it a plaque, HOPE PROTECTS WHAT WE LOVE. The contrast is the whole idea — cold luminous white against dense blue, ornament against negative space.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler's vertical silhouette, the design reads as a single continuous panel. The stag occupies the front-facing focal area at eye level, the framing ornament wraps the sides, and the lettering settles low where the form narrows, so the hierarchy stays legible from a distance. Handle-side space stays quieter, letting the luminous figure remain the anchor.
