Design Story
The composition is symmetrical and vertical. A single upright blade runs the full height of the surface, dividing the field and acting as the spine of the entire design. At its centre sits a shield carrying a rampant lion rendered in warm gold, mouth open, body arrested mid-stride rather than in motion. Deep crimson panels, filigree scrollwork, towers and laurel forms surround it, but they recede; the eye is pulled inward by contrast, not by activity. Banner ribbons carry the words COURAGE, BRAVERY and DETERMINATION, with a larger nameplate anchoring the lower third. Ornament everywhere, yet the hierarchy stays clear.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, the vertical proportion is the gift here. The blade motif follows the silhouette naturally, and the wraparound ornament gives the piece a continuous carved appearance from every angle.
