The eye lands on the lion first. Raised in gold against deep crimson, mane sculpted in layered relief, it holds the centre of the tumbler like a coat of arms carved into a door.

Design Story

Everything is built around that focal panel. A banner reads GRYFFINDOR above the shield; below it, a ribbon carries BRAVERY, COURAGE, DETERMINATION, and a smaller plaque answers with WHERE BRAVE HEARTS BELONG. Around the edges, spires, arches and small jewelled medallions frame the crest in ornamental detail, with the same red and gold carried onto the handle and lid area. The palette is tight — burgundy, antique gold, near-black shadow — so the composition reads as heraldry rather than decoration, ordered and deliberate.

Use & Experience

On a vertical drinkware silhouette this works in layers. The crest sits at eye level as the visual anchor, the banner text stacks cleanly above and below it, and the ornamental borders wrap the form so the design still reads from the side.
