Design Story

The composition is built as a vertical altar. At the top, a black band carries the word ARSENAL between two small gold cannons, establishing the reading axis immediately. Beneath it, the crest sits at the optical centre — deep red, outlined in gold, its cannon aimed across the shield — framed by scrolled foliage, crowned filigree and clustered stones that never compete with it. Lower, a gilded relief of the Emirates Stadium anchors the middle register, and below that a dark panel holds the motto VICTORIA CONCORDIA CRESCIT in quiet serif lettering. The palette is disciplined: crimson, gold, black. Density increases toward the base, so the eye descends naturally rather than scattering.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, that vertical hierarchy is an advantage. The wraparound composition reads as a continuous ornamental band, while the crest holds the front-facing focal panel at hand height. The red handle answers the red field without added decoration, leaving the graphic to carry the statement. Carried through an ordinary day, it behaves less like drinkware and more like a small commemorative object.
