Design Story

The composition works because it stacks a busy world behind one clean focal point. The face sits dead centre on the front panel, framed by spiked black hair that acts like a natural arrow pointing inward. Around it, the artwork layers dragon balls, palm trees, a turtle in sunglasses, the Kame House sign, and a circular kanji medallion at the top — a sculpted, almost carved-relief look in cream and warm gold. That muted background palette is the smart move: it lets the orange gi and yellow cloud pop without shouting. Below, the banner lettering reading SON GOKU and SMALL BOY · BIG ADVENTURES anchors the whole thing, giving the eye a resting line before the lower scene continues the story.
