Design Story

The composition is built in horizontal bands. At the top, arched lettering reads BRYANT-DENNY above a banner marked NIGHT GAME. Beneath it sits the focal panel: a single script A, rimmed in pale crystal-like facets, framed by laurel and flanked by two symmetrical elephant heads in cool grey relief. A ribbon carries CRIMSON TIDE. Lower still, a stadium facade glows with small warm windows, and the phrase WHERE LEGENDS PLAY closes the sequence above a gilded football emblem. The palette stays disciplined — deep crimson, antique gold, near-black quilted ground — so the eye descends in clear steps rather than wandering. Symmetry does the emotional work here: nothing lunges, everything stands.

Use & Experience

On a vertical tumbler form, that banded structure reads naturally. The script A lands at the front-facing centre, at eye level in the hand, while the ornamental borders wrap the curve and keep the composition continuous. The visible handle and lid frame the panel without competing with it, and the graphic scale stays large enough to register at a glance on a desk or in a bag.
