Design Story

The lateral side panel carries the central motif: a white buffalo inside a deep blue oval, framed by two crossed sabres rendered in gold line work. Around it, brush-like strokes of cobalt and ink-navy break across cream, splintering into fine fractures and speckles. The opposite shoe answers with block typography reading BUFFALO above SABRES, so the pair functions as emblem and inscription rather than as a repeated print. Cream negative space on the toe box gives the dense mid-panel somewhere to breathe, while navy collar, heel and eyelet panels close the composition at both ends. Gold hairlines thread through the chaos and quietly restore order.
