Design Story

The composition reads in tiers. Gilded horns and a crimson-jewelled brow anchor the top third, drawing the eye upward before the gaze pulls it back down. Black feathers fan to the right, weighted against a bank of thorn vines and pale bell flowers on the left, so the round format stays balanced rather than symmetrical. Deep wine roses, oxblood berries and antiqued gold hardware, crescent, cross, pentacle, hang as a vertical drop, the one directional line in an otherwise still image. Beneath it, a scrolled banner carries the readable sign text WELCOME, IF YOU DARE in clean serif capitals. The border treatment follows the circle in a carved-looking raised edge, framing the whole scene like a finished hem. The palette stays restrained: bone, oxblood, charcoal, brass.

Display & Styling

On a round wood sign, that centred focal structure is the point. The disc silhouette keeps the eye circling inward, the hanging cord sets it at eye level, and the banner text lands last, exactly where a visitor stops. It works as a wall-mounted statement piece for an entry, a porch, or a dark-styled interior corner.
