Design Story

The composition is textbook circular design. A skeletal queen in profile holds the center, braided hair and jeweled collar catching the light, one red gemstone eye acting as the single hottest point in an otherwise aged gold and deep green palette. Two ravens flank her at shoulder height, locking the figure into perfect symmetry. A sun medallion on the left answers a crescent moon on the right. Small skull cameos mark the quarter points like hours on a clock. The border carries readable Latin sign text: MORS REGNAT along the top arc, OMNIA MANENT along the bottom, both curving with the disc instead of fighting it. The carved-looking relief gives the figure real depth, and the gothic spires behind her fade into shadow so nothing competes with the face.

Display & Styling

As a round wood sign, the disc silhouette is doing half the work. The central composition reads clean from across a porch, while the border text and skull cameos reward a closer look. Hung from its cord, it becomes a wall-mounted statement piece rather than background decoration, and it styles naturally into autumn entryways, gothic interiors, or year-round dark-academia rooms.
