A silhouette that refuses the rectangle. The cut edge follows every horn, fang and splintered spur of the artwork, so the piece reads as an object on the door rather than a panel hung against it.
Design Story
The composition is strictly central and symmetrical: two upswept horns frame a lobed crimson mass at the crown, split by a seam of molten orange light. Beneath it, a carved-looking face resolves into hollow sockets with ember-bright pupils and a lower jaw of long tapered fangs. The palette is disciplined - bone and bark tones held against deep shadow, with heat-line accents doing all the colour work. Negative space matters as much as mass here; the jagged perimeter and the gaps between the horn tips let the dark backing read through, which keeps a heavy motif visually light.
Display & Styling
Mounted flat and hung from a cord, the shape-following outline gives a porch or entry wall a single confident focal point. Against a dark door it becomes pure contrast; against pale plaster the cutout perimeter turns graphic. Styled with autumn foliage and lantern light, it anchors a whole seasonal arrangement without crowding it.
