Design Story

The silhouette is the story here: a tapering, teardrop-and-heart outline with curled vessel forms branching from the top, and a cut edge that follows every scalloped lobe and pointed tip rather than settling into a safe rectangle. Inside, layered scroll shapes fold over one another in carved-looking relief, pale bone-toned ribs laid across deep crimson hollows. Scaled, leathery textures catch the warm light along the upper arteries. At the center, a small heart-shaped core reads as the brightest point, pulling the eye inward through the surrounding filigree. Along the perimeter, open cutouts break the mass and let the wall breathe through the design. A rope loop at the top completes the composition, anchoring the piece visually as much as physically.

As a heteromorphic wood sign, the custom die-cut silhouette is the whole point — no frame competing with the artwork, just the shape itself against the wall.
