The eye goes straight to the tear. Something is coming through the middle of this sign, and the whole composition is built around that single violent moment of arrival.

Design Story

A snarling skull face with burning red eyes pushes out of a jagged split, while two clawed hands grip the splintered edges on either side, dragging the opening wider. The outer silhouette is a pointed gothic diamond, its cut edge stepping in and out along scalloped arches and spear-tipped finials. Red gem shapes anchor the top and bottom points, a small skull crowns the peak, and two narrow vertical panels carry the readable text: WELCOME on the left, IF YOU DARE on the right. Warm bronze tones against black give the carved-looking relief its depth, and the rope loop at the top completes the hanging accent.

Display & Styling

As a heteromorphic wood sign, the custom die-cut silhouette does the real work. The shape-following cut edge means the piece reads as an object rather than a printed rectangle, and the perimeter detail keeps its outline legible from across a porch.
