Design Story

The wraparound surface is organised like a commemorative plaque. Tooled borders and stitched outlines create a nested frame, drawing the eye inward to the oval SF monogram in red, gold and off-white \Uffffffff the only saturated colour in an otherwise earth-toned field. Above it, arched lettering reads 49ERS; below, two engraved bars carry EST. 1946 and LIMITED EDITION, with a laced football motif closing the lower register. The rhythm is symmetrical and unhurried: text, emblem, text, symbol. Warm metallic banding at the top and base caps the panel, so the graphic reads as an object rather than a print.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler's vertical proportion, this hierarchy works cleanly. The emblem sits at the natural eye line of the focal panel, while the lettering fills the space above and below without crowding it. Read from the side, the framed borders wrap the silhouette as a continuous band, and the handle sits clear of the design so the graphic stays uninterrupted in the hand.
