Design Story

Above the crest, arched lettering reads PENN STATE with NITTANY LIONS set beneath in a narrow, spaced-out serif. Below, a slim band carries the words LIMITED EDITION. The lion itself sits inside a shield built from low-polygon geometry, framed by thin intersecting lines and small diamond-shaped accents that ring the composition like a border of cut stone. The palette stays disciplined: navy holding the field, silver-toned highlights catching the ridges of the mane. It reads as heraldry redrawn with a ruler.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, the vertical proportion works in the design's favour. The crest occupies the front-facing focal panel at eye level, while the banded details above and below give the wraparound composition a clear beginning and end. The handle silhouette frames one side without crowding the graphic, so the emblem stays the anchor from any carrying angle.
