The eye lands on the medallion first. A single orange letterform, set into a cream field like a coin pressed into stone, holds the center of the tumbler while everything else settles quietly around it.
Design Story
Above the medallion, TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS is rendered in raised, shadowed lettering, formal and unhurried. Below it, the composition opens into an engraved landscape: layered ridgelines fading into haze, pine forests stepping down the slope in fine etched linework, valleys carved in soft grey. Bordered bands run along the top and bottom, each punctuated by an amber gem-like accent, framing the scene the way a medal frames its emblem. The palette is restrained \Uffffffff bone, antique bronze, muted stone \Uffffffff so the single stroke of orange reads as the loudest note in an otherwise hushed arrangement. It is a design about place and belonging rather than motion.
Use & Experience
On a vertical drinkware silhouette, this works because the hierarchy is stacked correctly. Wordmark, medallion, then landscape \Uffffffff the wraparound composition carries the ridgelines around the body so the scene keeps unfolding as the tumbler turns. The focal panel sits high enough to stay visible above a hand or beside a handle, and the pale ground gives the graphic room to breathe. Carry presence is confident but calm: a considered accessory rather than a shout.
