The eye lands on the gold crest first, then drifts outward. Against deep garnet, a block letter emblem sits inside a layered octagonal frame, the gamecock caught mid-strut in polished gold line work. Everything around it is quieter by design.
Design Story
This is a study in restraint. The garnet field carries faint scrollwork, visible only when the light catches it, so the crest never competes for attention. Below the emblem, small caps read SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCKS and LIMITED EDITION, stacked with generous spacing. Lower still, a compact medallion marks EST. 1801. Gold banding at the collar and a matching handle bracket the composition, giving the vertical silhouette a clear top-and-side rhythm. Nothing moves. That stillness is the point: heraldry, not action.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, vertical proportion decides everything. The crest occupies the upper front panel where the hand does not cover it, while the tapered lower section stays largely open, letting the fluting and single medallion carry the base. The handle sits clear of the focal panel, so the emblem reads straight on from across a table. It behaves less like a printed graphic and more like a badge you carry.

Collegiate identity, composed with the patience of a crest rather than the noise of a slogan.
