Design Story

The composition is built in layers. Beneath the surface, oversized "LA" letterforms and a diagonal "LOS ANGELES LAKERS" band sit in tonal black-on-black, readable only where light catches the edges \Uffffffff a debossed-looking rhythm that wraps the silhouette rather than sitting flat on one side. Above it, a single polished gold "LA" anchors the focal panel at eye level, with small gold type reading "LOS ANGELES LAKERS" and "LIMITED EDITION" placed as fine print rather than headline. The purple lid and the faint violet accent lines are the only chromatic release in an otherwise monochrome field. Hierarchy is clean: gold first, tonal texture second, negative space holding it together.
