A badge treated like a reliquary. The artwork does not shout; it accumulates, layer over layer, until the eye slows down and begins to read detail rather than shape.
Design Story
The composition is strictly vertical and strictly centred. At the midpoint sits the shield: two red bulls facing a golden disc, a football at the centre, the words Red Bull and New York held in clean lettering. Everything around it is ornament \Uffffffff silver scrollwork, gold filigree, faceted red and clear stones arranged in symmetrical arcs. Below the crest, a second register opens into an engraved skyline of towers and a bridge, rendered in gold and pale grey against deep red. Two ideas are placed in hierarchy: emblem above, city beneath. The dark navy ground gives the metallic detail somewhere to breathe, and the restraint of that background is what keeps the density from collapsing into noise.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, the reading order matches the silhouette. The crest occupies the front-facing focal panel at natural eye height, the ornamental band wraps continuously around the form, and the skyline register anchors the base so the vertical proportion feels weighted rather than top-heavy. The red handle repeats the crest's dominant colour, closing the composition from the side.
