Below it, a warm amber court and arena bowl fade into a night skyline, then a ribbon banner closes the composition with EST. 1946. Four basketball roundels anchor the corners, and a scrolled filigree border with a repeating key pattern frames the whole surface. The contrast does the work: saturated navy against aged gold, ornate edges against a calm centered medallion. Nothing fights for attention, everything hands it off.

The centered medallion means a coffee table can sit over the court without erasing the story, while the wide decorative border keeps the edges legible against pale flooring.
